rss feeds not working
hi, the new RSS feeds seems not working. as double check I tried
other services (twitter, email, etc) and they all work but RSS
not.
I tried one of my feeds:
feed://www.ispazio.net/feed
is it correct or I've to remove the "feed://" string?
thanks

in general, i'm very satisfied with the Boxcar service. i know it takes a lot of effort to build these apps, especially when you're a small shop. and i don't expect that the problems of a small percentage of your user base are going to necessarily bump this issue up to the top of your priority list.
and of course, the problem may not even be with boxcar, but with suprfeedr (which you said elsewhere you were using to update the feeds).
anyways, just wanted you to know we're not all super-impatient. we're just looking for some communication.

@Nic Pfost I've felt the same thing in the beginning but when this issue continues you have to wonder whats going on. On top of that we are paying customers. Yes, it is a small amount of money but it adds up.
I've tried different feeds with the same results.
And it's not us being super-impatient when some of us have been waiting for some communication for over a month.
Overall Boxcar is the best notification app, but it has a paid feature that is broken. When this is fixed, I'll come back to the app.

I'm having troubles with RSS feeds as well. I've added a Twitter user's timeline feed (in the format of http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/xxxxxxx.rss), but am not getting any notifications. To test things out, I changed to the frequently-updated Digg feed (http://feeds.digg.com/digg/popular.rss). Still nothing. I hope that this gets resolved soon…. $0.99 down the drain.

My RSS Feeds stopped updating on 2/18.
Truely maddening!

Just throwing my own 2 cents - oh, wait, 99 cents, actually! No RSS updates for me neither. Wish I stumbled upon this thread earlier, it would save me a lot of time trying to find what's wrong with my feed!

I've had this problem since the Feb. 18. It seemes to have happened after I added an extra email account. Now I have Facebook, Twitter, 2 emails, 2 feeds. Everything seems to work except the feeds. I've removed, reinstalled, etc... nothing works.

I've had the same issue with my RSS feed for appleinsider.com.... it just stopped on 2/18 and I can't seem to get it to refresh.

Still no resolution on this trouble. Clearly, Boxcar is dropping a few stars due to lack of support or response.

Same issue, I bought 3 rss feeds I've never received a notification or a badge number, and they don’t show up in app :( I went with boxcar for pushing my feeds because it had a good reputation. £2.37 for nothing.

RSS notifications started arriving this morning. It's not resolved yet - delivery isn't real-time (several messages came in two separate batches) and Unicode (UTF-8 encoded cyrillic) characters appear as entities: [Разное] etc.

Iv given up, just go to the app store and get "letmeknow" works like a dream and easer to use. what's more the first 5 rss feeds are free. and the app is free so what the harm it trying it out.... seriously "letmeknow"

i got feed notifications!
i was never expecting the feed notifications to be "real time" (heck, the twitter and Facebook ones only update every couple minutes anyway), and feeds are notoriously slow anyway.
but the fact that these actually got turned on again is marvelous! (i wonder, was the developer on some sort of long vacation or something? seems odd that it took this long and we were left entirely in the dark the entire time.)

Yeah, I see it's partially back... the rss notifications are coming in but when you go in a click on one it doesn't go to the actual post. No explanation for them or anything. I've tried LETMEKNOW... may switch over cause now I just don't trust Boxcar anymore.

I saw it is back as well. After a few hours I changed my feed (did not buy a new one - just changed the existing one) and now I do not get feed notifications any more.
The whole thing seems flakey to me. They should pull RSS support until they get it working properly. Letmeknow works seamlessly.
