hi, the new RSS feeds seems not working. as double check I tried other services (twitter, email, etc) and they all work but RSS not.
I tried one of my feeds:

feed://www.ispazio.net/feed

is it correct or I've to remove the "feed://" string?

thanks

    Hi there,

Sorry about the confusion. I've updated your Feed service to just use
'http://www.ispazio.net/feed' and you should start seeing results here
    shortly!

    many thanks, Jonathan.
in the meantime I also removed the "feed://" part so I hope I didn't messed it up again.

and wow for your speed! :]

    have a nice day,
    Lock

hmmm... now I see it gets it if I enter application and go to Notification, but maybe I missed them on iphone since I've (for now) other applications working with push so they could have overwritten boxcar one. will keep on monitoring...

ok, now I'm sure. Boxcar doesn't send any push notification about RSS feed. if I manually launch the application it correctly reports new feeds in the notification page but no automatic pushes at all, nor sounds or alerts...

I have the same issue with Boxcar. It correctly shows the new RSS items in the app, but does not deliver Push notifications for them. Any hints?

I have the same problem with RSS. I use this RSS Feed http://feeds.myphone.gr/myphone but nothing happens!

I use another RSS Reader with Push support as well and the other works... But I like boxcar, so is there anything I can do?

strange, in the last two days it worked in the morning (europe time) only (not afternoon/evening) but now it's not working anymore.

    Hi

I have the same problem. I was using a feed successfully up until Tuesday - then switched to a different URL and it has not worked since. My feed is: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/ozbargainnew

Feed is my Favstar one: http://favstar.fm/users/rodbegbie/rss

Well, after days of testing Boxcar starts very well in the morning then it starts to get slower and slower during day until notifications stop to arrive since the afternoon.

I've bought 2 RSS feeds and I've never got a single notification. Nothing works even if I use the original feed address (XML), through FeedBurner or even through reader.mac.com

£1.98 wasted. :( really annoyed by this!

To summarize the problem I get a few (let's say from 1 to 3) notifications in the morning, the first ones at the same time of another application that pushes rss news from the same source. Then, while time passes, boxcar starts to get behind until notifications stop to arrive. Maybe the push server is too underpowered and can't keep all the tasks up?
I'm sorry but after two weeks of testing I think boxcar service is not mature enough to be reliable. Good luck for future development, I'll keep having an eye on future updates hoping it will improve soon.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app more times than I remember. I have set up three diferent accounts and tried various feed urls and nothing I working. The URL is not being stored in the settings even. I put it in and as soon as I leave the page with"feed" across the top, when I go back in, the URL feed is empty! Please fix it!

Suprised that the URL isn't at least getting saved. After you fill out the URL are you hitting "Save" in the upper right corner or just hitting the "Services" button to return to the previous page?

I'm having trouble with RSS as well.

neither of these work in boxcar, at all:

    http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/16423353477566768633/...
    feed://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/16423353477566768633/label/b...

i've let each of them sit for several days (meaning i'm not switching them around every few minutes).

Jonathan? are we looking at a fix for this? or did i just do something wrong when setting up the feeds?
